Gulf Coast Kids House serves as a safe place for child victims of abuse to talk about abuse issues in a non-threatening environment. It is an advocacy center that offers all of the professionals and resources needed for child abuse cases and its victims.

Art therapy and sand therapy are among the services offered at the Kids House. The toys featured in the mural were selected by the children from their therapy lessons. They were asked to choose those toys that represent hope, happiness, growth, and safety. This cheerful, colorful mural has a deeper message that connects with the values of Gulf Coast Kids House and the communities they serve.
